Can I download the Identity & Personal Branding documents I’ve filled out?

You sure can.  Download them, review them, and share them with your career counselor, academic advisor, mentor, or anyone who may be helping you make some of the major life decisions you’re thinking about right now.

Can my friends use my account?

No; sorry, but accounts are for your personal use only.  We’re glad you think they’d find it useful, though. Definitely tell them about MyPath101 so that they can join, too.

Can my parents use my account?

Absolutely.  In fact, we encourage you to bring them into the process.  You might be surprised by how helpful they can be–after all, in most cases, who knows you better than your parents?

How long is a membership term?

Your membership is good for one year from the date you join.

How much does it cost?

It's FREE! Yes, you read that right. FREE. Why? Cause we really want to help you kick off your college career on the right path so you can save yourself time and money - two super valuable assets! 

I found a teensy error, have a comment I want to share, or I see a way you all could make this site even better. Whom do I tell?

If I need help completing a module, what do I do?

Tech issues? Just go to the customer support section of the site; the contacts there will help you with all your technical problems or questions. If it’s the substance or content of a module that you’re finding troublesome, take your issues to our private Facebook page.

I’m not a college student–I’m a graduate student/parent undergoing a career change/interested observer who thinks I could really benefit from this site. May I join?

Sure. Much of the advice offered in MyPath101–on everything from conquering the ever-changing world of social media, to launching an effective, efficient job search in a crowded marketplace–would be of use to anyone looking for work or pursuing an academic career. So join away! Just keep in mind that not all the info in every module will apply to you 100 percent, since the modules are written with college students in mind. But we’re pretty sure they won’t mind sharing the wealth of information!

Social Media Disclaimer

Social platforms change their user interface frequently; we might not always like the changes, but we have accepted that this aspect of social media, like the weather and other people’s behavior, is not within our control.  At MyPath101, we make every attempt to keep our content as up-to-date as possible, but it can happen that there will be a lag time between when the powers-that-be at a social media outlet change their user interface and when we update our modules to match that new interface. When that happens, the content in our modules should still be accurate, but the images and specific step-by-step instructions may vary somewhat from what you see in your own current social media account.

What if I forget my username or password?

No big deal; it happens to the best of us. Just look for the customer support tab or go back to your login area and click on the button that says “forgot my password” or “forgot my username.”
